Join Hands Make better

Home Mission Details  Join Hands Make better

There will be no end to the troubles of states, or of humanity itself, till philosophers become kings in this world, or till those we now call kings and rulers really and truly become philosophers, and political power and philosophy thus come into the same hands. We know why we are here and our only real focused goal is to live each day to the fullest and to try and honor God and be an encouragement to others. What the future holds is firmly in God's hands, and we are very happy about that. What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like. God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give.

As we grow older, we will discover that we have two hands, one for helping ourself, the other for helping others. Letting go helps us to to live in a more peaceful state of mind and helps restore our balance. It allows others to be responsible for themselves and for us to take our hands off situations that do not belong to us. All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark. Sometimes if we want to see a change for the better, we have to take things into our own hands.
There is only one thing for us to do, and that is to do our level best right where we are every day of our lives; To use our best judgment, and then to trust the rest to that Power which holds the forces of the universe in his hands. A man paints with his brains and not with his hands.

HIV does not make people dangerous to know, so you can shake their hands and give them a hug: Heaven knows they need it.
